Our Autumn Fair 2023

Joy, creativity, and community. What a gorgeous day we had on Saturday at our Autumn Fair. It was a day full of home grown fun, wonder, surprises, and curated experiences for the whole family.

Our Autumn Fair opening ceremony started with an Acknowledgment of Country, followed by our Steiner school class performances that continued throughout the day. The musical entertainment was diverse with a variety of ensembles and choir performances, and we thank everyone that helped bring this stage to life. 

Throughout the day, families were able to visit our early childhood wondrous story time, discover some interesting preserves, plants, books, second hand-clothes and more. We saw children and young people delve into the Big Kids Games and Little Kids Activities for many hours. Our Craft Stall sold so many beautiful, unique, hand-made treasures that were created lovingly by our parents and staff. 

There were some amazing prizes won in our raffle. Thank you to all the businesses that made such generous donations to support our school and congratulations to all our winners.

Between the fun experiences on offer we all got to tempt our tastebuds with delicious hot curries, pork rolls, bacon and eggs, sausages, and pancakes. Cakes, biscuits, scones, tea, chai, and coffee were available and served with lots of smiles and love. 

At the end of the day, our waste team sorted all the rubbish produced from the Fair into recycling, compost, and rubbish. We finished the day with 4 bags of rubbish, which is an incredible story from an event of over 3000 people.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Alice Springs you continue to support our school each year and we appreciate you all coming out for the day and playing with us on Arrernte country. 

To our school families, you are truly magic. What a day you put on for the community! This Fair was such a joy and we thank you for all the work you did to help make this event happen.

A huge thanks to Class 4 for organising the Fair!

An amazing total of over $48,000 was raised on the day, with more than 3000 people in attendance! – visiting us this year. The school looked incredibly festive with beautiful decorations everywhere.  

A very big Thank You to all parents who donated time, energy, blood, sweat and tears to make the Autumn Fair such a wonderful day.  The Office.
