The Alice Springs Steiner School (TASSS) welcomed our first Class 7 in 2019 and our first Class 8 in 2020.

New families can inquire for their children turning 13 to embark on a new journey at our Steiner School. The preparatory work for TASSS to introduce a High School started in 2016.
The curriculum that the high school follows is the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework which is recognized by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) for classes 7 to 10.

This curriculum which was developed by Steiner Education Australia (SEA) fosters independent thinking, creative problem solving, and a sense of confidence equipping high school students for future challenges. It is a curriculum that stresses practical knowledge and resourcefulness of imagination.

Steiner graduates understand information and learn using the arts, as opposed to memorizing isolated facts. They are flexible, original and willing to take intellectual risks. Graduates from Steiner education are passionate about achieving their goals and are highly sought after in higher education and employment.
