Our Winter Festival

As Term 2 drew to a close, our school community came together once again to share in the warmth and beauty of our Winter Festival—a celebration that brings light into the darker days of the season and reminds us of the strength and connection we find in each other.
Our community gathered for the Winter Festival on the last Thursday evening of the term. Classes 1 to 5 created beautiful, hand-crafted lanterns for the occasion—symbols of light and hope. Each class shared a musical performance with their families, filling the evening air with warmth and joy. Class 6, 8 & 9 closed the evening with a dynamic Fire Stick display, bringing a spark of excitement to delight students and younger children alike.
As the sun set, a stunning natural spiral—carefully arranged on the oval—began to glow with dozens of twinkling candles. Families, students, and children quietly walked the spiral path together, a moment of stillness and light that spoke of the gradual return toward the sun, and the coming of Spring and Summer.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all staff and teachers who brought such care and creativity to this magical evening. Your dedication made this festival not only beautiful, but truly meaningful for our entire community.
