The Alice Springs Steiner School curriculum includes a regular program of physical education sport and games designed to correspond with the child’s developmental needs.
In the early years, there is an emphasis on non-competitive games. Team sports are introduced in class four. The older primary students play regular interschool team sports with other Alice Springs Primary schools. The school participates in regional sporting events.
Swimming lessons take place in the summer months.
The School has a grassed Oval and a Basketball Court. Children have daily access to the oval and play equipment during break times.
Children of all ages also play team and individual sports in local competitions.
